I trained as an architect before I trained as a designer, and it shows in how I approach a screen the same way I'd approach a floor plan — as a system of relationships, not a collection of parts. A Master's in Visual Communication from NID Ahmedabad sits on top of that foundation, adding a craftsperson's attention to type, image, and story.
That combination — architecture, visual communication, and UX — is unusual, and it's the thing I lean on most as an independent consultant. Most designers are strong in one of those three. Working across all three means I can move from a system diagram to a research plan to a shipped interface without losing the thread.
In practice, that looks like design systems work, UX strategy for enterprise products, and brand or communication projects where the storytelling has to hold up under scrutiny. I care about work that's considered — thought through at every scale, from a single label to the whole architecture of a product.
